Weapons, drugs seized from Commack home

A Commack home was raided Thursday night by Suffolk police officers, who seized an Uzi, eight handguns, numerous rifles and shotguns, and marijuana and prescription painkillers, police said.

Scott Liebman, 49, of 125 Hayrick Lane, was arrested and charged with criminal weapons possession and marijuana possession in the 10:27 p.m. raid, Suffolk police said.

The arrest came after Second Squad detectives executed a search warrant following a six-week investigation of drug dealing at the house, police said. More arrests are expected.

Detectives found marijuana valued at $5,000 and large quantities of Percocet and Vicodin pills, police said.

Liebman was held at the Second Precinct overnight for arraignment Friday at First District Court, Central Islip.
