William Floyd lanes reopen after truck overturns, Suffolk cops say

All southbound lanes of the William Floyd Parkway on the Yaphank-Shirley border were closed for more than six hours Tuesday morning as workers cleared debris and leaking fuel from an overturned tractor trailer, Suffolk County police said.

The southbound tractor trailer, hauling a load of lumber, overturned at 1:46 a.m. just south of the Long Island Expressway, police said.

The exit ramp from the Long Island Expressway in the area was also closed, police said.

All lanes were reopened shortly before 7:30 a.m., police said.

There were no injuries, police said.
