High-profile Manhattan attorney John Q. Kelly has joined the legal team representing relatives of victims in the wrong-way crash on the Taconic State Parkway, another attorney on the team said Monday.

Relatives of victims Michael and Guy Bastardi hired Kelly Friday to help handle the lawsuit against Diane Schuler's estate, said Nanuet attorney Irving Anolik.

Authorities say Schuler, of West Babylon, drove drunk and high in the July 26 crash, killing herself and seven others. She drove a minivan 1.7 miles the wrong way before crashing into a sport utility vehicle.

Kelly could not be reached Monday. According to his Web site, clients have included the estate of Nicole Brown Simpson and the mother of Natalee Holloway, who disappeared while on spring break on the island of Aruba.

Suffern attorney Brian Sichol has been fired from the Bastardis' legal team, Anolik said. Sichol could not be reached Monday.
