Old Town Hall hosts the Town of Babylon's History Museum, which includes historical photographs, a grand stairway, an old courtroom and jail cells. Yes, jail cells. During the holiday season, volunteers put together a train exhibit. The building itself was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Town of Babylon's Parks and Recreation Department headquarters is situated within the North Babylon park behind the high school. Nice working conditions, indeed. There are playgrounds, sports fields and a pool that includes a couple of tall slides. Or, if you'd like, take a seat and simply enjoy the view.
