The Islip Art Museum will hold its Antique and Collectible Fair on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.
Vendors will set be up on the ballfields of the Brookwood Hall mansion, at 50 Irish Ln., in East Islip. The organizers said in a statement that dozens of vendors are expected, and merchandise will include radios, vintage jewelry, silverware, china and furniture. Admittance is free. There will also be free appraisals, but each visitor will be limited to two items in the appraisal.
Visitors will also be able to see the museum’s current exhibit, “Story Time,” which shows how artists use devices like avatars, virtual alter-egos and cartoons to tell stories.
Proceeds from the fair will benefit the Islip Art Museum and the Carriage House, a space owned by the museum where artists create and exhibit experimental works.
