Arianna Huffington, the co-founder and editor in chief of The Huffington Post, will be at Stony Brook University on Oct. 25 to talk about her latest book and take audience questions.
A 45-minute talk with Huffington will be moderated by Howard Schneider, the dean of the university’s School of Journalism.
After the discussion, Huffington will answer questions from the audience and sign copies of her book, “Third World America,” in which she says politics have played into a decline of America’s middle class.
The event is sponsored by Think Magazine, a student-run publication that won a nationwide contest to host Huffington on her book tour.
The talk will take place at 8 p.m. on the main stage of the Staller Center. It is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
