The Town of Huntington’s 11th Annual Women’s Networking Day theme is “Luxurious from the Inside Out” and will ask attendees to focus on “Finding Your Inner Beauty.”

Huntington Town Supervisor Frank Petrone and members of the town board invite residents to the event Tuesday that also will honor five exceptional women during an awards ceremony.

The town’s Women’s Division presents the annual event to help the public receive important information and learn about services offered by the town’s numerous nonprofit organizations.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and there will be a fundraiser for the Huntington Breast Cancer Action Coalition. Pink hair extensions will be sold at the reduced price of $10, with $5 of every sale being donated to the coalition.

The event will include more than 50 booths, where experts will provide attendees with information, advice and demonstrations on a range of topics.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Larkfield Manor, 507 Larkfield Rd., East Northport. General admission is $10, $8 for seniors, and includes lunch and raffles.

For more information, call Rhonda Shepardson, director of Women’s Services, at 631-351-3291, or email her at rshepardson@huntingtonny.gov.
