U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, above,  will be in Babylon Monday to announce legislation that would provide job-training services for Long Island veterans who have fought in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The job-training legislation, Gillibrand said in a statement, would offer a “series of proposals to improve job training, help veterans translate military skills to the workplace, access further education, and assist veteran-owned small businesses.”

Gillibrand will be at  Babylon Town Hall at 11:30 a.m. to announce the measure.
