Suffolk County police officers measure the hole in a plate glass window at the Cow Harbor Kids & Moms Consignment Store on Main Street in Northport.

At about 4 a.m. Thursday, someone smashed the window and rummaged through the store.

They also smashed the front door of Nina's pizza shop and made off with the cash register.
