LI Spelling Bee is all the buzz

How well can they spell? Find out Wednesday as 24 finalists in grades 4-8 go head to head in the annual Long Island Spelling Bee.

The winner will go on to the Scripps Howard 82nd Annual National Spelling Bee finals in Washington June 2-4.

The 24 Long Island finalists were selected from a group of 105 students based on a written test administered earlier this winter.

Test your own spelling skills by following the action starting at 5 p.m. at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School, 121 Central Park Road, Plainview.
