The HOV and left lanes of the Long Island Expressway eastbound in the area of Exit 37 in North Hempstead are closed due to flooding, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

The DOT also reported two closures on the LIE in Queens.

*All lanes are closed westbound approaching the 48th Street Ramp due to an accident.

*The left lane eastbound approaching Exit 19 is blocked due to fire department activity.
