The LIRR has fully restored service to the Oyster Bay branch after an earlier suspension of service on the line, according to the MTA website.
The Long Island Rail Road had suspended service between Locust Valley and Oyster Bay in both directions after an eastbound train struck debris. According to an MTA service notice, the 10:49 a.m. Jamaica train due in Oyster Bay at 11:43 a.m. struck debris east of the Locust Valley station.
As of 3:52 p.m., there were still residual delays on the line.
According to the MTA website, service is also suspended in both directions between Atlantic Terminal and Jamaica Station because of signal trouble.
All other lines had "good service" as of 4:03 p.m.
