Long Beach parking permits on sale Monday

Long Beach resident parking permits for 2012 will go on sale starting Monday.

Cash, check and credit cards, only Visa or MasterCard, will be accepted in person at the clerk’s office in Long Beach City Hall Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Residents should bring a copy of a valid vehicle registration and proof of Long Beach residency. The application fee is $10.

To accommodate residents, the clerk’s office will be open late on Tuesday, Dec. 20 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in City Hall Room 307.

To obtain a permit by mail, send an application along with a $10 check or money order, a copy of a valid registration and a copy of the current driver’s license to the City of Long Beach, Attention: City Clerk, 1 W. Chester St., Long Beach, NY 11561.

Applications for parking permits are available in the clerk’s office or can be downloaded from the city's website. For more information, call 516-431-1002.
