Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk County police are seeking the public's help to identify and locate the person who used a stolen credit card to purchase a video game from a Shirley store earlier this month.

Detectives say the man pictured above entered the Game Stop at 999 Montauk Hwy. on Aug. 16 about 7:45 p.m. and allegedly used a stolen credit card to purchased Grand Theft Auto.

The man is described as thin, in his mid-20s and about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a tan, hooded sweatshirt, shorts and sneakers.

A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. Tips can be placed anonymously by calling 1-800-220-TIPS.


SWASTIKA GRAFFITI  PROBED. Police are investigating a bias incident after a swastika and graffiti were found painted on the back wall of a post office building on Mollineaux Place in Roosevelt Sunday. Anyone with information regarding the incident is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.

FLOOD HELP. A 211 hotline has been set up for those on Long Island who were affected by the historic rainfall that hit the area Aug. 13.

TRIO ARRESTED. Two men and a woman were arrested Sunday in connection with a case involving drug possession, theft and harassment, Nassau County police said. More on this story here:
