KINGS PARK CIVIC MEETING/ The Kings Park Civic Association has scheduled a meeting tonight at 7:30 at Kings Park High School, 200 Route 25A. The meeting will include updates on the Kings Park Industrial Area, ideas on how the association can celebrate Earth Day, and possible improvements on Route 25A.
DIX HILLS - A one-car crash closed part of Wolf Hill Road in Dix Hills for most of the day Thursday. The accident, which sent the car into a utility pole, cracking it and downing electrical wires, occurred near Winthrop Drive at 1:42 a.m., according to Suffolk County police. The road -- between the Northern State Parkway and Deer Park Road -- will reopen after emergency crews repair the pole and wires.

WATER MAIN BREAK
The Suffolk County Water Authority is reporting a water main break in West Babylon on 7th Street that impacts about 28 residences and one business. Customers in this area may experience a disruption of water service, low water pressure and discolored water while the break is being repaired.
Today's forecast shows a high of 55 degrees and a low of 46. It's breezy. It'll be partly cloudy tonight with a 40 percent chance of rain.
