BRENTWOOD: A meeting will be Wednesday night at the Brentwood Public Library to discuss the health and environmental concerns about illegal toxic dumping at Roberto Clemente Park in the past year. RIVERHEAD: The Riverhead town board will hold a public meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. to discuss a draft environmental report on plans to develop the Enterprise Park in Calverton, also known as EPCAL. LINDENHURST: The Lindenhurst school district board of education meets Wednesday to discuss a variety of business items. The meeting will be held at 8 p.m. at the McKenna Administration Building, 350 Daniel St. Check out Denise M. Bonilla's coverage at Newsday.com.
WATER MAIN WORK IN SUFFOLK
The Suffolk County Water Authority is working on the following projects Wednesday until 3 p.m.
SOUTHAMPTON: Installing a new water main on Flying Point Road, near Wickapogue Road.
WEST ISLIP: Replacing a water main on Driftwood Drive, near Mariner Circle.
WYANDANCH: New Water Main Construction on Acorn Street, near Richbern Street.
OFFICERS FACE PERJURY CHARGES
Newsday's Bridget Murphy is live-tweeting from the trial of two Nassau correction officers -- John Andujar and Joseph Donlon -- who are facing perjury charges. Authorities said they lied to a grand jury and in documents, providing sworn but false statements that an inmate had started a fight with one of the officers at the Nassau jail in East Meadow in October 2011, officials said.

Suffolk County police are looking for two male suspects in the theft of two television sets on separate occasions from a Target on Pond Path in South Setauket.
The first incident occurred Aug. 24 at 7:55 p.m. The second theft occurred Aug. 26 at 9:55 p.m.
