With an LIRR strike averted, there are plenty of great things for you to do this weekend without having to worry about your Monday commute -- at least not any more than you normally would.

The temperature for both Saturday and Sunday is set to be near 80 during the day, with a chance of rain Sunday.

The same pilot of the same plane that landed safely on Sunrise Highway in East Moriches last week repeated himself on Friday, landing again on the highway, Suffolk County police said.


WEST ISLIP: There is a closure on the Robert Moses Causeway southbound between Montauk Highway and Robert Moses State Parkway.
