Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County police Second Squad detectives are asking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man they say used stolen credit cards in May.
On May 18, 2014, police say a man entered a vehicle parked in a driveway on Heights Road in Fort Salonga and stole a wallet containing cash, a gift card and credit cards. He later used the credit cards at several locations.
The man is described as having a goatee and glasses. He was wearing a black do-rag and a light-colored sweatshirt.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
Suffolk County police officers are also seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in the theft items from a store in Commack on May 17.
According to cops a young woman entered Ulta and is suspected of taking assorted bottles of Chanel perfume at about 11:50 a.m.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
