Suffolk police to provide free car seat inspections

Free child car seat inspections will be offered Saturday at Suffolk County police headquarters.

The inspections, conducted by certified technicians from the department and the nonprofit Education and Assistance Corp., are by appointment only from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Experts will also provide child passenger safety tips.
