Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman who is wanted in connection with an identity theft case that occurred in West Hempstead late last year.
Due to heavy fog, Southwest Airlines and US Airways have canceled multiple flights this afternoon, Long Island MacArthur Airport said in a tweet. Travelers are advised to contact airlines for further information.
Dense fog remains an issue for Long Island on Friday afternoon, with a fast-moving rain system forecast to sweep across the area starting midafternoon, meteorologists said.
