PUBLIC HEARING EYES REPAIRS TO BAY PARK SEWAGE PLANT. Nassau County lawmakers held a special public hearing at 2 p.m. today in the county legislature's meeting chambers, 1550 Franklin Ave., Mineola, to discuss repairs to the Sandy-damaged Bay Park sewage treatment plant.

WATER MAIN BREAK ALERT
BRENTWOOD. Water services are shutdown due to emergency repair of a water main on Orient Avenue. The shutdown will affect 16 residences.
ISLIP. Water services are shutdown due to emergency repair of a water main on Moffitt Boulevard. The shutdown will affect seven residences and 10 businesses.
HEMPSTEAD VILLAGE: SCHOOL MEETING. The Hempstead School District will meet tonight at 7 in Hempstead High School's Little Theater, 201 President St. Earlier this month, district officials sought a consultant to help find funding for the potential construction of nine new schools. MALVERNE: AIRPLANE NOISE. The Town-Village Aircraft Safety Noise Abatement Committee will hold a meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Malverne Village Hall, 99 Church St. Representatives from the Port Authority, which manage Kennedy and LaGuardia airports, are to discuss Gov.
