The Malverne Historical Society is hosting a candlelight tour of its historic Landers House on Saturday.

The house, originally built in 1854 on eight acres, was owned by four families before it was purchased by the society in 1996 and turned into a museum to display the village’s historical collection. Its last resident, Alice Stapleton Walls, died there in 1995.

This is the first year since its restoration that a holiday tour of the building will be given.

Tours are available between 5 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.
