Nassau County’s series of free outdoor summer music concerts will be condensed into one month — June — and called International Music Nights Month.
The 21 concerts will feature more international themes.
“We’re changing it around . . . to honor the range of ethnic groups that help make our county so dynamic,” County Executive Edward Mangano said Tuesday at a news conference at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow.
All of the concerts will be performed at the park, starting at about 7 p.m. The series will begin on Friday, June 3, and continue through Thursday, June 30.
Canon U.S.A. will continue its $44,000 sponsorship of the series.
