The new officers will serve in Elmont, Valley Stream, East Rockaway, West Hempstead, Rockville Centre, Uniondale, Merrick, Levittown, Bellmore, North Bellmore, New Hyde Park, Syosset, Jericho, Hicksville, Plainview, Oceanside, Massapequa and the Five Towns, police officials said.

The ceremony will be at 7 p.m. at the Legislative Chambers of the Theodore Roosevelt Executive Building on Franklin Avenue.
