How long have you lived in Ronkonkoma? About 10 years.

What brought you here? I went to Stony Brook.

What made you stay? I got a job at St. Charles Hospital and stayed.

How is Ronkonkoma different from where you lived previously, in Rosyln? Roslyn is more of an upscale town. It’s more commercial here.

What do you like about living here? It’s quiet -- but it’s boring, too. For young people. I go to the city or to other towns to hang out.

How would you define the character of Ronkonkoma? There’s a sense of community here. Very residential.
