Supervisor Jon Kaiman said the applicants — 433 Main Street Realty LLC — were not ready to proceed with the project, which called for a 3-story, 35-unit housing complex with restaurant and parking off Main Street.
The project already has received approval from the Board of Zoning Appeals.
Board member Fred Pollack, whose term ends this year after he was defeated in last week’s election, said recently that he opposes housing on Manhasset Bay.
