The Village of Lindenhurst is raising the price of parking permits for its railroad station.

The cost to park at the Lindenhurst LIRR station will increase from $45 to $50 for residents and from $155 to $160 for nonresidents, village officials said.

The increase was approved at Tuesday’s village board meeting. The new fees will take effect in 2013.

The village last raised railroad parking permit fees in 2011.
