Heavy rains very early Monday morning will give way to cloudy skies during the rest of the day.
A warm front, which brought heavy rains, will move east of Long Island this morning. There will be a slight chance of leftover showers the rest of the day.
Temperatures will be mild, approaching 60 degrees in many places.
The chance of showers lingers into Tuesday morning, with a sharp cold front expected to bring rain and even some thunderstorms later in the day.
