The Town of Southold has one spot to fill on its Board of Ethics and it's now accepting resumes.

The Board of Ethics is responsible for reviewing the town’s annual disclosure statements and the town's ethics code. The board also advises the Town Board in matters concerning the ethical conduct of town employees and officials. The board may also conduct investigations or refer a case to town officials or the Suffolk County district attorney for consideration of legal action.

Applicants should not have served, or not have a family member who has served, as an elected or appointed officer of the town within the past year, or during their tenure on the ethics board.

Resumes are due by Nov. 29 to Town Clerk Elizabeth A. Neville, Town Hall, P.O. Box 1179, 53095 Main Rd., Southold.
