Cops probe Freeport shooting

Nassau County police Friday morning were investigating a shooting in Freeport near North Columbus Avenue, a spokeswoman said. A shooting incident was reported about 9:30 p.m. Thursday by telephone to Nassau police, the spokeswoman said. -- GARY DYMSKI
