Shopping jumpstart.
The holiday shopping season goes into high gear Thursday evening shortly after the leftovers from the Thanksgiving feast are stored. It continues the next day on what has come to be known as Black Friday, the day merchants hope will help them get their businesses to a profit.  The nation’s busiest shopping day of the year has been marked by ever-earlier openings and a steady diet of special sales. Mass changes.
