Theater plan. Hempstead’s town board will hold a public hearing  at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Nathan L.H. Bennett Pavilion, adjacent to Hempstead Town Hall, (1 Washington St. The board will consider selecting a purchaser-developer for the former Argo Theatre property in Elmont as part of an Urban Renewal Plan. Opening office. The town board meets Tuesday to consider whether to open the town clerk’s office on July 24 to accommodate requests for same-sex marriage licenses on the first day they’re legal in New York. Parking plans. Southampton holds its regular town board meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday to host eight public hearings, including one on repealing parking restrictions for Noyac Bay Avenue in Noyack.
