Zoning laws: The Northport Village board of trustees meets at 6 p.m. at Village Hall (224 Main St.) to hold two public hearings, one on a proposed law to allow the board to go over the 2 percent tax cap, the other on changing zoning laws to allow restaurants such as the Whale’s Tale in the marine business district.
