Syosset hosts annual tree lighting
Hundreds came out on Sunday to Syosset's annual Christmas tree lighting, complete with performances by local singers, musicians and, of course, a visit by Santa Claus.
The 13th annual event was sponsored by the Syosset Chamber of Commerce.
"It's a chance for all of us at the chamber to give back to the community. They bring out their families and it's just a really good time," Chamber president Danielle Delgrosso said.
