More than 40 people gathered for the unveiling of a patio constructed by student Chandler Varone in memory of his business teacher Doug Monsell at Bayport-Blue Point High School. Monsell, a Boy Scout, built the patio as part of his Eagle Scout project.

Engraved pavers were sold to fund the patio student Chandler Varone constructed in memory of his business teacher Doug Monsell at Bayport-Blue Point High School. Surplus funds from the paver sales are to be donated to an educational fund set up to cover college tuitions for Monsell's children. Varone wrote the text on the paver above. (Oct. 6, 2012)
