New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo has won praise for his handling of tropical storms Irene and Lee, and he now holds a 66 percent approval rating, according to a survey by Quinnipiac University. That matches the high for a New York governor set in July 2002 by then-Gov. George Pataki.
In addition to his handling of the storms, voters say Cuomo has been successful in his dealings with lawmakers -- pushing through a same-sex marriage bill, an on-time budget and an overhaul of the state's ethics laws.
Where do you stand? Do you think Cuomo deserves such high ratings?
