Six town boards in Suffolk County are meeting throughout the day Tuesday.
The Babylon Town Board is set to meet at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 200 E. Sunrise Hwy., Lindenhurst. The evening session is rare for the board, which usually meets at 3:30 p.m. The board will hold public hearings on a number of town code changes. The Brookhaven Town Board will meet at 5 p.m. at Town Hall, 1 Independence Hill, Farmingville. The board will open with a half-hour public comment period at 6 p.m., followed by public hearings for changes to the town code. The agenda can be downloaded here.
In East Hampton, the town board will hold a work session at 10 a.m. at Town Hall, 159 Pantigo Rd., East Hampton.
The Riverhead Town Board meets at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 200 Howell Ave., Riverhead.

The Town of Shelter Island is scheduled to discuss its 2011 budget at a 10 a.m. work session at Town Hall, 38 N. Ferry Rd., Shelter Island. A full agenda was not available.
The Southold Town Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 53095 Rte. 25, Southold.
