The Bay Shore-Brightwaters Public Library district will hold its annual budget vote Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the library.

The budget calls for a 2.5 percent increase in the library district tax, which library director Eileen Kavanagh said would mean an annual increase of about $8.46 for the average home.

The library is at 1 South Country Rd., Brightwaters.

The Central Islip Public Library district budget vote is Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the library.

Library director Paul Facchiano said the proposed budget calls for a tax increase of about 2.25 percent, which he said would increase taxes by $10.50 per year for the average home.

The library is at 33 Hawthorne Ave., Central Islip.
