CENTEREACH. Accident on Nicolls Road northbound south of South Coleman Road.
UNIONDALE. Water main break on Hempstead Turnpike eastbound at Meadowbrook Parkway and before Merrick Avenue.

GROUNDHOG SHADOWS. Holtsville Hal and Malverne Mel on Sunday make their annual weather forecast. The Holtsville groundhog is scheduled to pop out of his lair at the Brookhaven Town Wildlife and Ecology Center Animal Preserve, 249 Buckley Rd. at 7:20 a.m. Malverne Mel looks for his shadow at 7:20 a.m. at the gazebo on Church Street in Malverne.
