Ambulance Fees: Great Neck Vigilant Engine and Hook & Ladder Co. is holding a meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Great Neck North Middle School to discuss a dispute over how much to charge for ambulance service and how those costs are divided among villages on Great Neck peninsula. Animal Adoptions: The Hempstead Town board meets today at Nathan L.H. Bennett Pavilion (adjacent to Town Hall) at 10:30 a.m. and will consider a proposal to waive town animal shelter adoption fees for senior citizens, veterans, physically challenged residents, volunteer firefighters and auxiliary police officers.
