The Long Island Rail Road is postponing the first stop in its “LIRR Listens Tour” at Penn Station Wednesday because of the impending snowstorm, officials said.
The event was scheduled to be held from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Penn. The LIRR has not announced a new date yet.
The tour — part of the LIRR’s recently announced Performance Improvement Plan — aims to give commuters an opportunity to provide valuable feedback on LIRR service to top railroad managers.
The LIRR is planning about a half-dozen such events at various stations, including Jamaica, over the coming weeks.
