LIRR service running again after brush fire

Long Island Rail Road service between Locust Valley and Oyster Bay has been restored after it was suspended for a brush fire.

A MTA spokeswoman said the fire was not on the LIRR tracks, but the incident caused 20- to 30-minute delays. Smoke from the brush fire caused the temporary stop in service.
