Narcotics/Vice Bureau detectives charged two men Thursday with selling heroin in Nassau County, including one accused of selling the drug to an undercover officer, police said.
Nassau police said Dominique D. Lawrence, 24, of 39 Glenmalure St. in Amityville, twice sold an undisclosed amount of heroin to undercover detectives on Thursday on Carmans Road in Massapequa, once at 6 p.m. and again at 9:47 p.m.
Lawrence was arrested without incident, charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Detectives also arrested Sanjay S. Singh, 26, of 963 Lydia Place in Baldwin, on charges of selling heroin in the South Shore hamlet twice last month.
Police arrested him at his home at about 8 p.m. Thursday on two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Singh sold heroin from his home on Sept. 18 and again on Sept. 19, police said.
Both men were arraigned Friday. Lawrence was held on a bail of $50,000 bond or $25,000 cash, while Singh was held on a $25,000 bail.
