Two drivers were injured Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Route 25 under the overpass at Nicolls Road in Centereach, Suffolk police said.

The crash occurred shortly before 7 a.m. when a vehicle driven by an unidentified woman turned left from the exit ramp of northbound Nicolls Road onto westbound Route 25 and was hit by a vehicle driven by an unidentified man heading eastbound on Route 25, police said.

The woman was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of a leg injury, police said, and the other driver was taken to a unnamed hospital for evaluation. Both drivers were alone in their vehicles.
