Wanted: Armed robbery; credit card theft

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are looking for a suspect in connection with a robbery at a Massapequa store.

According to police, at 10:12 a.m. on Nov. 19, 2012, a man entered the Walmart at 200 Sunrise Mall. He was armed with a gun and robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as being 25-30 years of age, about 5-foot-9 and 160 lbs., and having a mustache, a goatee and collar-length braided hair. The suspect was wearing a Garda security windbreaker-style jacket.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are looking for a man and a woman suspected of using a stolen credit card at a store in Ronkonkoma.

According to police, the suspects used the stolen credit card for two separate transactions at Kohl's at 106 Ronkonkoma Ave. on June 1. The man was described as being in his 40s with a medium build and dark hair. The woman was described as being in her 40s with a heavy build and long dark hair.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS (8477). All calls are confidential.
