Wanted: Debit card theft; shoplifters

Nassau police and its Crime Stoppers department are looking for a woman in connection with a grand larceny that took place at the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream.

Police say that at about 6 p.m. on March 3, the woman pictured above allegedly used a bank debit card that did not belong to her to purchase items at the Victoria's Secret store in the Green Acres Mall.

The person whose bank debit card was used to make the purchases had reported the card stolen on the same date from within the Green Acres Mall.

Crime Stoppers asks anyone who can identify the suspect or has any information about the crime to call the confidential hotline at 800-244-8477.

Suffolk County and Riverhead police are looking for two women who allegedly stole items from a Riverhead department store.

Police say that on March 5, the woman pictured above, along with a female companion, took clothing, household goods and other items valued at more than $1,700 from TJ Maxx store at 1120 Old Country Rd. in Riverhead.

Crime Stoppers asks anyone who can identify the suspects or has any information about the crime to call the confidential hotline at 800-220-8477.
