Wanted: Hate-bias graffiti; stolen watches

Nassau police and its Crime Stoppers department are looking for the person or people responsible for spray painting graffiti and anti-semitic slurs in the Sea Cliff area.

Police say that sometime between 4 p.m. on Dec. 27 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 30, various buildings and structures were painted using blue and pink spray paint, with swastikas, and alluding to groups such as the White Knights, White Kingdom, WK, a "420" marijuana reference and WK, and other types of graffiti.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at its toll-free and confidential hotline: 800-244-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers offers up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.


Suffolk police and its Crime Stoppers department are looking for two men who allegedly stole watches from a retail store in the Walt Whitman Mall in Huntington.

Police say that at about 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 13, the two men took several Michele Jelly Bean watches valued at $1,600. They left the store in a waiting silver or white Mercedes-Benz.
