Wanted: Theft of iPhone; theft of merchandise

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are looking for a man wanted in connection with the theft of an Apple iPhone at a Uniondale store.

According to police, the suspect was in the Dunkin' Donuts at 976 Hempstead Tpke. at 8:15 a.m. on June 25 and took an iPhone from another individual and fled. The phone is valued at $400.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are looking for a man and a female teenager in connection with the theft of merchandise from a Melville store.

According to police, at 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 14, a man and two female teenagers entered Kohl's at 834A Walt Whitman Rd. and took clothing, fragrances, jewelry and computers. Once outside, they were confronted by store security and all three fled but one suspect, a 17-year-old female, was apprehended and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.

The man, whose name may be James, is described as being 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot-8, thin and bald. The at-large girl, whose name may be Ashley, is described as being 17 years old and 5-foot-5 with brown hair.
