New American, Breakfast
Love Lane Kitchen is one of the North Fork's busiest restaurants, equally popular among locals and visitors.
The breakfast menu features all the classics--pastries, eggs, granola, pancakes--made with care and creativity and all ably assisted by the restaurant's house-roasted coffee. At lunch, sandwiches take a global turn. Among the best: grilled hanger steak with arugula and red onion on a focaccia roll, grilled pressed Cuban made with house-roasted pork, or the summery "Parma" with arugula, roasted pepper and fresh mozzarella. A Cobb salad is made with house-roasted chicken, chicken noodle soup tastes truly homemade. The limited entrees include fish & chips, steak frites and vegetable quesadilla. If lobster roll is a special, go for it.
The dinner menu is less casual and reflects the many years founder Michael Avella spent living in Italy. You might find homemade lemon fettuccini, ravioli "del plin," a Piedmontese specialty, swordfish picatta. Or Moroccan-inspired Long Island duck tagine, or a burger made with beef raised down the road in Cutchogue.
Breakfast and lunch seven days a week. Dinner Wednesday through Sunday.Website Add an event Correct this listing
