MTA weekend service changes: What to know before riding the subway

Here are all of the MTA weekend service changes you should know about.

Here's a look at the service changes from Friday night to Monday morning.

No. 1 trains

Van Cortlandt Park-bound trains in Manhattan will skip 50th, 59th and 66th streets.

No. 2 trains

Wakefield-bound trains will skip Eastern Parkway, Grand Army Plaza and Bergen Street in Brooklyn, and 50th, 59th and 66th streets in Manhattan.

No. 3 trains

Manhattan-bound trains in Brooklyn will skip Eastern Parkway, Grand Army Plaza and Bergen Street.

Service between 96th and 148th streets in Manhattan will be replaced by 2 trains and free shuttle buses.

Trains will make stops along the 4 line in Brooklyn.

No. 4 trains

Uptown trains in Manhattan will skip 23rd and 33rd streets.

Service between Bowling Green in Manhattan and New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn will be replaced by 2 and 3 trains.

Manhattan-bound trains in the Bronx will skip 176th Street, Mt. Eden Avenue, 170th, 167th and 161st streets (Sunday, 3:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.).

Service will run every 16 minutes between 125th Street in Manhattan and Woodlawn in the Bronx (Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.).

No. 5 trains

Normal weekend service.

No. 6 trains

Pelham Bay Park-bound trains in Manhattan will skip 23rd and 33rd streets.

No. 7 trains

Normal weekend service.

A trains

Inwood-bound trains in Manhattan will skip 72nd, 81st, 86th, 96th, 103rd, 110th, 116th, 135th, 155th and 163rd streets.

Ozone Park/Far Rockaway-bound trains in Manhattan will skip 103rd, 50th, 23rd and Spring streets.

Ozone Park/Far Rockaway-bound trains in Manhattan will make local stops at 163rd, 155th and 135th streets.

C trains

Uptown trains in Manhattan will skip 72nd, 81st, 86th, 96th, 103rd, 110th, 116th and 135th streets.

Euclid Avenue-bound trains in Manhattan will skip 103rd, 50th, 23rd and Spring streets.

Service between 145th and 168th streets in Manhattan will be replaced by A trains.

Trains will run every 12 minutes.

E trains

World Trade Center-bound trains in Manhattan will skip 23rd and Spring streets.

Jamaica Center-bound trains in Queens will run express from Queens Plaza to 71st Avenue and will skip 75th Avenue and Briarwood.

B trains

The B does not run on weekends.

D trains

Norwood-bound trains in Brooklyn will skip 25th Street, Prospect Avenue, Fourth Avenue-Ninth Street, Union Street and DeKalb Avenue.

Trains will run every 12 minutes (days and evenings).

F trains

Jamaica-bound trains in Queens will skip 75th Avenue, Briarwood and Sutphin Boulevard.

M trains

Service is extended to the 96th Street in Manhattan, running on the Q line between Lexington Avenue/63rd and 96th streets.

G trains

Court Square-bound trains in Brooklyn will skip Bedford-Nostrand Avenues.

J trains

Service between Crescent Street in Brooklyn and Jamaica Center in Queens will be replaced by E trains and free shuttle buses (3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday).

L trains

Service between Broadway Junction in Brooklyn and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan will be replaced by the M14 and free shuttle buses.

N trains

Trains will run along the R line in both directions between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center in Brooklyn and Canal Street in Manhattan.

Astoria-bound trains in Queens will skip 36th and 30th avenues.

Q trains

Service between 96th Street in Manhattan and Prospect Park in Brooklyn will be replaced by the M, N, R lines and free shuttle buses.

R trains

Jamaica-bound trains in Queens will run express from Queens Plaza to 71st Avenue.

Trains will operate to and from the 179th Street F station.

W trains

The W does not run on weekends.

S shuttle

Normal weekend service.

Z trains

The Z does not run on weekends.
